The Quiet Longing of the Soul
August 2026 Seasonal Embodied Practice

What if the deepest transformations begin not with striving, but with listening?
As August unfolds, the changing angle of the light begins to transform the way we experience the landscape. The greens deepen, shadows grow longer, and familiar places take on a different quality. Nature reminds us that meaningful change often begins long before it becomes obvious, inviting us to notice what has been calling us all along.
This month’s Seasonal Embodied Practice integrates Kundalini Yoga, conscious breath, meditation, guided deep relaxation, and reflection inspired by Jungian depth psychology.
Together we will explore one of life’s enduring questions:
What is quietly calling us toward greater wholeness?
Each week’s practice is part of a progressive journey while remaining welcoming to those joining us for the first time. Through embodied practice and symbolic reflection, we cultivate the capacity to listen more deeply—to ourselves, to life, and to the unfolding wisdom that reveals itself one breath, one step, and one season at a time.
The Journey
Each month in the Seasonal Embodied Practice unfolds as a carefully designed journey in which breath, movement, meditation, and reflection build upon one another week by week. While each gathering may be experienced independently, those who participate throughout the month often discover a deeper unfolding that gradually reveals itself through sustained practice.
Week 1 — Hearing the Call
Every meaningful journey begins with a subtle invitation. Before outward change comes inward listening. Through breath and embodied practice, we begin cultivating the stillness required to hear what has quietly been calling us.
Week 2 — Persona and Shadow
As we become more attentive to our inner life, we inevitably encounter both the identities we have cultivated and the aspects of ourselves that have remained hidden. Rather than judging either, we begin the gentle work of bringing greater awareness, compassion, and integration to the whole of who we are.
Week 3 — Trusting the Journey
Rarely do we understand the full meaning of our path while we are walking it. This week’s practice invites us to cultivate trust—not certainty, but the quiet confidence to continue responding to life’s unfolding invitation even when the destination remains unseen.
Week 4 — Becoming Whole
Integration is less about fixing ourselves than about becoming increasingly available to the fullness of our own lives. Breath, movement, meditation, and reflection support the gradual reconciliation of the many parts of ourselves into a more authentic and compassionate whole.
Week 5 — Living the Call
As August draws to a close, we return to the world carrying something subtle yet profoundly different. The deepest fruit of practice is not found on the mat alone but in the quality of presence we bring to our relationships, our work, and our everyday lives.

Embodied Archetypal Wisdom & Contemplative Practice
Kundalini Yoga • Jungian Depth Psychology • Mythology • Contemplative Practice
For more than three decades, I have explored the intersection of science, psyche, and contemplative wisdom. My work integrates a background in medical biology, Jungian depth psychology, HeartMath, mythology, and Kundalini Yoga to create practices that invite not only stress reduction, but meaningful inner transformation.
At MetaHeart Center, yoga is more than physical exercise. It becomes an embodied conversation between body, psyche, and spirit—a place where ancient contemplative traditions and modern psychological understanding meet in service of the unfolding Self.

Disclaimer
These classes are offered for educational and experiential purposes only and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. Please consult your healthcare provider before beginning any new physical, breath-based, or meditative practice.
All practices are invitational. Participants are encouraged to honor the wisdom and limits of their own bodies, modifying or discontinuing any exercise that feels inappropriate or unsafe. By participating, you acknowledge personal responsibility for your physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
This series integrates Kundalini Yoga, Jungian Depth Psychology, mythology, contemplative traditions, and symbolic reflection as educational and experiential frameworks for personal exploration. While Kundalini Yoga was popularized in the West through various lineages, including that of Yogi Bhajan, I do not endorse or condone the harmful actions and abuses he has been accused of. My teaching is informed by years of study, personal practice, depth psychological inquiry, and deep respect for the timeless wisdom that transcends any one individual or organization.
